You probably remember the moment we told you about our evangelistic event, that we organized in Bucharest with Josh McDowell. Last year, a Hall that was meant for communist meetings where the former dictator Ceausescu was praised, the same Hall was filled with young people that heard the Gospel. Two weeks ago in our church a Baptism took place. Veronica is one of the students that confessed the Lord publicly and she received Christ at that evangelistic event. Veronica will get married this year with Costel, which also received Christ years ago at one of our meetings. Now he is a youth leader in our church, an authentic Christian. Another student that got baptized 2 weeks ago is Iulian. He received Christ himself in our student ministry. Adriana is another student that participated to an evangelistic event that we organized for the students from the internet that were interested in God. Now Adriana is herself a reliable leader in our youth ministry. Veronica`s parents participated at the Baptism even if no one in their family was a believer. They had a hard time accepting the fact that she became a Christian, but they supported her at the end. But no one from Iulian`s family was there. He was encouraged though by many students and missionaries which are now his family.
We are telling you these things to illustrate the wonderful ways of God. He chooses people to serve Him to generations that never knew Him, in the same way He chose and used Paul. Facts 26:17. As a Christian movement we are now in a period of planning. The vision of campus Crusade for Christ at a global level can be summarized in the following words:
We pray for spiritual movement everywhere so that each person will have the opportunity to know someone that truly follows Christ.
We want that each person will meet someone like Veronica, Iulian, Adriana or Costel and get to know the Lord Jesus. We invite you to take part to this dream and in prayer, evangelism and discipleship, together with churches everywhere, to bring the Gospel to every person in Romania and further.
We thank you for your support, for your prayers, encouragement and financial involvement. In difficult times we have a God which is never in crisis. By the contrary His eternal plan works perfectly and we are grateful that we are and you are also a part of this plan.
At the end we encourage you to pray for Beni`s father, Mihai. A few years ago he discovered that he has cancer. He was under medical treatment but lately it seems that his cancer extended to his bones. He is now with us in Bucharest and in the past 2 months he had to go everyday for radiotherapy at the Oncology hospital. He is 77 and is not an easy experience for him to fight cancer, but some days we have the feeling that fighting with the health system here is even bigger that the disease itself. There were many days when we woke up at 3 am to stay in line to get to see the doctor and we came back at 8 pm. Please pray for God` s victory and help in this situation.
Our girls are an enormous blessing for us. Zara goes now to kindergarten and even if she is the youngest of her class God gave her wisdom to be an example for other children. She is always appreciated for her behavior and we are so thankful that God has given her heavenly kindness and also love for Jesus and prayer and for her little sister Reia. Reia is now one year and 10 months and she is really strong and funny. She is imitating Zara in everything and already speaks a lot. Both of our girls are source of great happiness for us.
On the 26 of November a friend of ours, Bryan Dempsey will come to Romania. His heart is dedicated to God and evangelism and will be involved in our ministry here for a couple of weeks. We will travel a lot and we have planned many opportunities to share the Gospel. Please also pray for this time, for us to get to see God at work through His Holy Spirit, so that the name of Jesus will be glorified.
We end our letter now with warm love and thanks addressed to you, we are glad to know you and to serve together such a mighty God.

We are so glad to be able to share with you our joy, or sadness or triumphs and defeats because we know that your answer is one of prayer. We thank you for all the support that you are giving us, for each of your thoughts and every prayer to God for us.
At the beginning of this month we came back from the Danube Delta, the city of Sulina. We have planned this project since January. If you remember, last summer we have experienced an enormous success in organizing a similar evangelistic project in Sucevita. There we have been working with the local churches and they were encouraged to continue to search for those who do not know the Lord. This year we intended to go in an area where there is no Christian church, no missionary to talk to people about God. Such a place is the area where The River Danube meets The Black Sea. So, for 6 days, 22 people went to Sulina. Our group was supposed to be bigger, but God had other plans with some of us. To get there we had to travel 4 hours by boat. Unfortunately our bus was late and we missed by one minute the boat that was supposed to take us. So we waited, in the hot sun, for many hours for a smaller boat that came for us. It was not easy to travel this way with 6 small children, but it was a good experience and God has showed His mercy at every step.
We found a region all surrounded by water. We found nice people, very polite and honest, but we also met people without God. We planned 3 special evenings to share the Gospel. The disco club was the only place that we could rent for this purpose. We included in our program testimonies, dramas, songs, experiences with God. Each night, after our program, the disco club was starting. Many young people that were coming to the discotheque heard the Gospel as well. Among them, some people from Sulina and also tourists. Some of the Fishers that we met told us: we are isolated here; all we see is fish and water. We have never seen something like this.
The other 3 nights we went out to sing in the street, talking with those that stopped to listen. We gave Bibles, shared the Gospel and talked about our Almighty, Eternal, True God. One evening a group of 10, all dressed in black, stopped to listen our songs. We found out that they were Satanists, some having families that teaches them that way, and they were coming to Sulina every year. It was a challenge to talk to them.
We also met a border policeman, also involved in Satanist practices. He came each evening to hear our program including the Jesus film and he confessed that he wants to get out of this chain. He had showed us some of the drawings that he had made in old buildings there. He wanted to let Jesus change his life. Bogdan, a Christian student that lived in that area will continue to meet with him, please pray for him.
We left the Delta with the feeling that in such a beautiful and special place, in which God`s work and power are so obvious and show the Splendor of Our Creator, in a free country, with many evangelical Christians and churches, there still are places where the Gospel needs to be spoken. If God will guide us, we will probably go back to Sulina to do that. And you all are invited to come....
This week, the Fitzuica magazine will go to the print. The theme this time is How to choose wisely. We want to talk about choices that can change not only this life but the eternal life as well.
Thank you for praying for my brother David. His leg was amputated and now he continue his Chemotherapy. He has surpassed this tremendous shock and he trusts that God will keep him strong for what will follow. He has also received a prosthetics and he is trying to use it. We praise God for His mercy and we keep praying that the cancer cells will not affect other parts.
We end this letter with the prayer that our Lord will pour His Grace and Joy upon you. Please join us in prayer for printing and distributing our magazine, for the next university year and wisdom in doing God`s will in everything we plan.
We have finished another website www.studiubiblic.ro which will help us to continue to work with those who started their life with God. We pray to be blessed with success in our work and we also pray to always be guided by the Holy Spirit and to live through His power.
Yours in Christ, Beni, Dana, Zara and Reia Husarciuc

Code orange in South of Romania |
|
Yesterday in the Southern part of Romania, including Bucharest, started to snow. Right now we have code orange. The trains are 6 hours late, flights canceled, cars covered by snow. It is very beautiful to see how God cover the sin and dirt with beautiful white snow from heaven. See pictures with my car. It seems that for a few days we have to stay inside and pray.
